Overview of the Farmable platform
Farmable has three main parts:
The Farmable mobile app – used by farm managers and workers in the field
The Farmable web portal – used mainly in the office for planning and reporting
The Farmable Enterprise portal - used by companies with many farms or larger co-operations.
Both stay in sync, so data captured in the field is ready to review and export from your computer.
Digital field maps
Your field map is the foundation of Farmable.
With field maps, you can:
Draw farms, fields, and blocks
See job progress on specific blocks
Attach notes, jobs and harvest records to locations
This gives you a visual history of what happened where.
Jobs & job planner
Jobs represent the tasks your team completes on the farm: sprays, fertilizing, mowing, pruning, scouting, and more.
You can:
Create jobs from the app
Assign them to specific workers
Set dates, fields/blocks and equipment
Track status (planned, in progress, completed, overdue)
Spray & fertilizer logs
Spray and fertilizer logs are one of Farmable’s core strengths.
For each job you can record:
Products and rates
Water volume
Equipment and operator
Target crop/field/block
Weather conditions and application reason
These logs help you:
Comply with regulations and certification schemes (e.g. GlobalG.A.P.)
Prove what was applied, where, and when in real time
Avoid duplicate or conflicting treatments
Pest, disease & scouting notes
Use Farmable to record:
Pest and disease observations
Field photos and comments
Over time you can see how issues develop and which treatments work best.
Harvest tracking & labels
Farmable lets you track harvests by block and time:
Create harvest jobs and record quantities
Link harvest records to specific fields/blocks
Generate harvest labels to improve traceability from field to packing house
Reporting & audits
From the web portal you can:
View logs of all jobs
Filter by date, field, crop or job type
Export spray, fertilizer and harvest reports to PDF, XLS
Many growers use these reports for GlobalG.A.P and other audits.
