TL;DR: Go to Settings → Manage members → Invite, select Crew, Advisor or Manager, then add the person's name and email address.
Invite a team member
1. Go to Settings → Manage members.
2. Select Invite.
3. Choose the appropriate role:
Crew: can execute and track jobs, and view or add field notes.
Advisor: can recommend jobs, and view or add field notes.
Manager: has full admin access and can add or edit all data types.
4. Enter the person's First name.
5. Enter the person's Last name.
6. Enter their Email address.
7. Select Send to invite them to the farm.
The team member will receive an email with instructions to join your farm.
FAQs
Do I need an email address to invite someone?
Yes. An email address is required to send the invitation.
Which role should I choose?
Choose the role based on what the person needs to do in Farmable. Managers have full administrative access, while Crew and Advisor access is more focused.
Can I change a member's access later?
Yes. Open Settings → Manage members and select the member to manage their access.
What happens to records if a member is deactivated or removed?
Historical jobs, notes and other farm records remain on the farm. Only the person's access is affected.
