TL;DR: Go to Settings → Data sharing, tap Connect on the Mattilsynet card, and confirm with BankID. After that, every completed spray job submits automatically — no manual reporting.
What this connection does
Mattilsynet is Norway’s food safety authority. Norwegian growers have to report their use of plant protection products, and this connection handles that reporting for you. Once it’s active, completed spray jobs upload as soon as they’re finished.
Who is this for?
Growers and farm teams on Norwegian accounts who record spray jobs in Farmable. The integration applies to Norwegian accounts only.
Before you start, you’ll need:
a Farmable account for a farm in Norway; and
BankID, to confirm the connection.
Connect to Mattilsynet
1.Open Data sharing
Go to Settings → Data sharing. Under “New” you’ll see a Mattilsynet card with a Connect button, above your other data-sharing partners.
2.Tap Connect
Farmable shows you what the connection does: your completed spray jobs will upload to Mattilsynet according to regulations. Tap Connect, then confirm with BankID.
The connection is active immediately. There’s no waiting period and nothing to approve on Mattilsynet’s side.
3. Check a job’s submission status
Open any completed spray job and look at the Summary screen. Once the job has gone through, the Status line shows “Completed & submitted” with the Mattilsynet icon.
You can still edit or delete a job after it has been submitted. Submission doesn’t lock the job.
What happens after you connect
Nothing, on your side. Every spray job you complete uploads on its own, and the Summary screen tells you when it has gone through.
If a job fails to submit, it shows as failed. Farmable resolves it and tells you what to do if you need to take any action.
Stop sharing with Mattilsynet
Go back to Settings → Data sharing, scroll to the bottom and revoke access.
