Currently, Farmable does not support splitting a single job across multiple workers in one field (for example, having 3 workers each cover different parts of the field). However, there is a simple workaround that allows you to pass the job from one worker to another while tracking progress accurately.
Steps to Split a Job Between Workers:
Pause the Job
The person assigned to the job has to pause the job.Edit the Job
After pausing the job, the manager should edit the job details to assign the remaining task to another worker. This is done by selecting the new worker (e.g., a second sprayer) in the job's user allocation section.Assign the Next Worker
Once the job is edited, assign the second worker to the job. They will be able to see where the first worker stopped, based on the current progress recorded in the system.Continue the Job
The second worker can now continue the task from the point where the first worker left off. Once finished, they will be the person recorded in the job’s completion records.
Important Note:
Completion Records: The person who finishes the job will be the one recorded in the job's completion history in Farmable. This ensures tracking of who completed the work, even if it was a collaborative effort.
This method provides a way to manage multiple workers efficiently while ensuring that progress is tracked accurately. Though it's not a true "split job" feature, by pausing, editing, and reassigning, you can still divide tasks between workers, especially for larger jobs that require more manpower.
Tips:
Track Job Progress: Make sure that each worker knows their assigned area of work before taking over a task.
Keep Records Clean: Ensure that the person finishing the job is correctly recorded in the system for accurate reporting.
