While the app doesn’t offer a formal “season split” feature, Farmable supports this workflow effectively through the Replant function and detailed report filtering options.

By default, all plantings for a field within the same season are shown together. This affects:
Graphs in the App: They aggregate field data for the entire season, including all plantings, depending on the season start date you selected.
Field Costs and Products (Farmable Pro): Costs are calculated per field, not per planting cycle, so you will have to filter according to plant date if you want to work out the cost per field.
To review individual plantings or isolate data:
Filter Reports by Date
Navigate to Reports.
Select your desired report type (e.g., Cost, Activities).
Use the date filter to view data before or after a replanting event.
Tip: Choose the day before you replanted as the cutoff to see the original crop's results.
Filter by Crop Type
If you replant with a different crop, you can apply crop type filters where supported.
Understanding the Season Start and Cut-Off Dates
Farmable defines a season based on a customizable season start date. This is important for determining when a new season begins, how data is grouped, and when costs, products, and statistics reset.

Northern Hemisphere: January 1st
Southern Hemisphere: July 1st
You can change your farm’s season start date in Farm Settings to align with your local climate, crop cycle, or operational preferences.

Why Season Start Dates Matter
All costs, products, and field activities are grouped by season.
Any planting done after your custom season start date will be recorded in the new season.
This is especially important if you replant close to the boundary—one planting may fall into a different season than another.
