TL;DR: Go to Tools → Sales, select the season you want to view, apply any filters, and choose a metric to update the chart. From here, you can explore your sales and harvest data, export records, or register a new sale or harvest.

Farm Sales gives you an overview of your farm's harvest and sales activity for a selected season.

You can use it to:

Farm Sales is part of the Sales management add-on and is available from Tools → Sales in the Web Portal.

It is available to the Farm Owner and Manager.
​

If Sales is not available under Tools, the Sales Management add-on may not be active for your farm.
​

To activate it:

1. Open the Web Portal and go to Store.

2. Find Sales management.

3. Select Subscribe to Sales management and complete the purchase.

Sales management is available as an add-on for farms with an active Farmable Pro subscription.

For more information, see:

1. Go to Tools → Sales.

2. Select the Season you want to view.

3. If needed, use the additional filters to narrow down your data:

You can also select one of the metric cards at the top of the page to change what is displayed in the chart:

Use Compare with to compare the selected season with another season.

The comparison is shown on the metric cards at the top of Farm Sales, making it easier to review how performance differs between seasons.

Further down the Farm Sales page, you can choose between different views:

You can export your Sales and Harvest records directly from Farm Sales.

1. Open either the Sales or Harvest tab.

2. Select Export.

3. Choose:

The export will use the season and filters currently selected on the page.

To record a sale:

1. Select Register sale.

2. Enter the sale details, including:

3. Add any optional information, such as:

4. Under Take from batches, choose how Farmable should deduct the sold amount from your available stock:

5. Select Save sale.

Tip: If the customer does not exist yet, go to Settings → Customers to add them first.

If you already know which harvested batch the sale should come from:

1. Open the Batches tab.

2. Find a batch that still has stock available.

3. Select Sell.

4. Complete the sale details.

5. Select Save sale.

The selected batch will already be added under Take from batches.

Select Show more at the bottom of the list to load additional batches.

You can also create a harvest directly from Farm Sales.

1. Select Add new harvest.

2. Complete the harvest details.

3. Save the harvest.

Once completed, you will return to the Farm Sales page.

I cannot see Sales under Tools?

The farm needs an active Sales management subscription before Sales appears under Tools.

Go to Store in the Web Portal to check whether the add-on is active.

If you are not the farm owner, ask the owner to activate Sales management for the farm.

Who can access Farm Sales?

Farm Sales is available to the Farm Owner and Manager.
​

What does Compare with do?

Compare with lets you compare the selected season with another season.

The comparison is reflected on the metric cards at the top of Farm Sales.

Can I export my Sales and Harvest records?

Yes. Open either the Sales or Harvest tab and select Export.

You can download the records as an XLS or CSV file.

The export will follow the season and filters currently selected.
​

Can I register a sale from a specific batch?

Yes. Open the Batches tab and select Sell next to the batch.

Farmable will open Register sale with that batch already selected.
